Dr Cheng has a wealth of experience gained whilst working as a doctor for over 16 years and as a Menopause Specialist in the UK for 5 years. She was a member of the Gynaecology Menopause Department at West Middlesex University Hospital, London. She provided care for patients with complex medical histories and difficult to treat menopausal symptoms

Dr Cheng has the highest post-graduate qualification in Menopause care recognized in the UK as a British Menopause Society accredited specialist. There is no NZ qualification equivalent

Alongside working as a Menopause Specialist in her own clinic at Menopause Care NZ, Dr Wai Tze also works as a breast physician at Tauranga Hospital publically, caring for women who have had breast cancer or a significant family history of breast cancer
